Living in Florida means people LOVE being on or in the water. Whether it is boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, or swimming, people are conscious of the surrounding water quality. With a hyper-local strategy, The PURE Initiative plans to clean and educate the community in Tampa Bay.

Starting with the Hillsborough River and surrounding waterways, they organize clean-ups on land and water.

As the PURE Initiative grows with local clean-ups and educational classes, their focus will expand well beyond Tampa Bay and Florida.
